National Testing Abhyas app: Free mock test app download and parctice to the fullest

National Testing Abhyas app, which was launched by the union HRD minister Ramesh Pokhriyal as an effort to help JEE and NEET aspirants prepare for their entrance exams, has now been downloaded by more than 2 lakh students in the initial 72 hours of its launch. The app has been available for all the students who have a smartphone on the Play Store.

The app was designed by National Testing Agency (NTA), the organisation which conducts competitive exams like JEE and NEET, when the HRD minister has requested the agency to help students prepare for these entrances from the safety of their homes amid the covid-19 lockdown.

The app provides free mock tests to students who are aspiring to appear for the JEE and NEET examinations and helps them get a strong hold on their concepts. The app also helps students know their weak points and work towards improvemt.

The HRD minister also tweeted about the success of this app, saying,” The National Test Abyaas App launched by HRD Ministry’s NTA for students preparing for JEE (Mains) and NEET has become very popular and within less than 72 hours of its launch, more than 2,00,000 students have downloaded this app. Over 80,000 students have also appeared for mock tests.”

The intention behind launching this app was to help those students who don’t go for any private coaching to appear for such exams. Since students from across the country appear for these exams in large number, this app was launched to assist them during their preparations for JEE and NEET amid a nationwide lockdown.

Goal to create world’s largest virtual test system

During the nationwide lockdown, the HRD ministry has taken several measures to help students study and stay motivated during these uncertain times. National Testing Abhyas app proved to be one of the most successful educational venture by the ministry during this time, as the app is now a big hit between the students.

In the video he released on his official Twitter handle, he said,” In the time of this unprecedented health emergency, this app will help the students to prepare for the examinations. Through this app, our goal is to create world’s largest virtual test system which will provide immediate, real and unbiased results.”

This app was launched three days ago by the HRD minister himself and the announcement was made on Twitter. While speaking about the success of the app, he also thanked the NTA DG Vineet Joshi for developing an app which can help students score better in their entrance exams.

The HRD minister also said that the app is now available on all Android phones and can be downloaded through the Play Store. The app will soon be available on iOS phones as well.

Features and details of National Testing Abhyas app

The main purpose of this app, which was launched three days ago by the HRD minister, is to help students who don’t have aid from private coaching centres prepare for NEET and JEE from the safety of their homes. The primary feature of this app is to conduct free online mock tests for the students, which will help them prepare better for their entrances.

The mock tests are taken online and are of three hours. The test can be taken during any time of the day, as per the convenience of the student. There are also detailed solutions of each question available so that students can brush up on their concepts.

The app also analyses the students’ potential and gives them tips on how to study for different subjects in their exam syllabus. It also evaluates the time spent on each subject and help the students divide their time between their concepts.
